Our reporter Shayne Crowley digs for 66-million-old fossils at the preview for the opening of The Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University, located in Mantua Township, N.J. The former marl quarry and fossil bed that is part of the park contain fossils of more than 100 species of marine and land animals. The 123-acre park also features a net-zero energy museum, which includes halls, displays, and galleries transporting visitors to the time of the dinosaurs. The museum’s grand opening is March 29.
